live mail desktop bug sign in

i dont save my passwords so when i want to post,
i have to sign in everytime.... an error pops up after sign in...
then if i dont 'X' the signin dialog it will stick there forever
I close the diag manually and now i can post....weird

This happens to me as well, but without the freezing part. It started on my third session of WLMD. I keep trying to sign in when I post, but it never signs me in, but keeps asking. I'm still able to post if I press cancel to the 'You must be signed in' msg

Is this with the newsgroups sign-in feature? If so, then you can simply disable it. Just go to Tools- Options, then in the General tab, uncheck "Use newsgroup Communities support features".
